How Santa’s calls work
Every call is live and personal. Santa speaks to your child in real time using the details you share at booking, and our team at 5 Mins With reviews call quality every day throughout December. Nothing is pre-recorded.
What Santa will never do
Promise a specific present. Call a child naughty or mention the naughty list. Ask for surnames, addresses, schools or any personal information. Discuss frightening, violent or adult topics. Give advice about family, health or money.
If a child says something serious
Children sometimes mention illness, divorce, bereavement or bullying. Santa responds gently and briefly, reminds them their grown-ups love them, and steers back to warmth. Santa never gives advice. We recommend a grown-up stays within earshot for the whole call.
Your data
We collect only what you type and your contact details. Santa’s notes are deleted by 31 January. Phone numbers are deleted 30 days after your call. Calls are recorded so the elves can offer you a keepsake of the conversation afterwards; recordings are private to you and deleted after 90 days unless you choose to keep one. We never sell data and never show adverts to children.
Phone calls
Santa always places the call, from one fixed UK number that we give you to save as “Santa”. If anyone rings that number, the elves answer with a short message; it never connects to Santa. Calls are made in the UK and Santa speaks British English.
Refunds and missed calls
Missed Santa’s call? He tries twice. If we still couldn’t reach you, rebook any available time free from your booking page. If a call fails for a technical reason on our side, we refund you in full, automatically.
Age and consent
Bookings must be made by someone aged 18 or over with parental responsibility or permission. We don’t knowingly collect information from children directly.
